Abstract: Fear and Loathing on the Path to Voting

Martin Ericson and Todd Inskeep are teaming up for a review of historic and current voting practices to understand why the top three threats to US elections are: Communicating the Results, Attacking Centralized Data, and Hacking People. Then we’ll dive into the psychology of manipulating people through cognitive biases and social media systems to discuss hacking the mindset people bring to the voting booth.
