Sam Phillips

Sam Phillips is an information security industry veteran who has held information security related executive leadership roles including Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Security Officer and Chief Information Security Architect at several major companies including Wells Fargo, Samsung, BlackBerry, Bank of America and Boeing. Sam has extensive security industry experience in driving strategic business initiatives, security architecture and engineering, educational development programs, and chairing or as a key participant in large-scale projects focused on improving and implementing security at a company and an industry level. He has been responsible for enterprise information security programs, information security architecture, identity and access management, security policy and standards, compliance and assessments, product and infrastructure security, risk management, and security innovation. Sam is currently providing executive cyber security advisory and fractional CISO services to assist businesses in building out a sustaining cybersecurity program that meets their individual needs.
