TIM MURPHY

Mr. Murphy is President and CEO of Consortium Networks, a Cyber Security and Networking company, recently recognized by CIO Review as one the most promising enterprise security solution providers.  Mr. Murphy leads the strategic direction, business operations and cybersecurity solution development and client services.

Prior to Consortium Networks, Tim was the President of Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) where he continues to serve as Chairman of the Board. As a Special Agent and Executive in the FBI, Tim held a number of operational positions across the nation investigating matters from counterterrorism to cyber and organized crime, even serving as an FBI pilot. He served in various management roles as well including as a Special Assistant to the FBI Director, Special Agent in Charge of the Cincinnati Field Office, the Bureau’s Chief Financial Officer, and as its Chief Operating Officer before rising to the level of Deputy Director of the FBI.

Tim was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Public Services and is frequently consulted for his expertise in global cyber, counterterrorism, intelligence, criminal, security, and business issues. In addition to his service on the board for TRSS, he also serves on the Western Union Board of Directors as the Chair of the Compliance Committee, the Ferris State University Foundation Board of Directors were he serves as Chair, Genius Group Board of Directors and as an advisor to Glilot Capital.
