With increased regulatory, legal and client pressures to secure critical information and infrastructure and the projected job deficit of upward of 3.1M unfilled jobs in CyberSecurity by 2020, it’s imperative organizations adapt. The only way to survive is to redefine CyberSecurity to enable and monopolize on a more diverse talent pipeline.
Briana MacIntyre has 20+ years of experience in company turnarounds and launches focused on redefining organizations due to regulatory and risk gaps in technology and information security and management. She has served a range of companies in the areas of technology risk management, data protection and management, and technology resilience, focused on the financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, telecom and federal sectors.
Briana is a Hands-on Leader that Partners at all levels of an organization to deliver results. Switching easily between the high-level executive view and the impact to the most detailed technical components. She speaks the language of business, operations and technology and can move between them easily and without causing confusion to the audience. Solutions and advisory can span from the simplest organizational and process shifts to be made within the existing ecosystem to dynamic custom designs for software or infrastructure. Achieved by integrating with existing technologies, startups, emerging technologies or designing and building innovative solutions from scratch.
She has a unique understanding of multiple industries and how to predict future trends. Whether it is formulating a strategic plan of action, identifying operational issues and risks that would impact overall security and performance of a program(s), engineering technical solutions that are consumable and creatively attack real client problems or bringing a new product or project from inception to launch at real customers, she has done it.
Briana MacIntyre is a UNCC Alum. She has her bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Finance and has her Executive MBA from MIT She seeks to innovate and expand an institutions ability to turn information into knowledge while minimizing risk, security and compliance affects. Her goal is to impact an organization through her belief that intelligent process, data and solutions engineering and effective management in a company can not only create competitive advantage and gain market share but actually achieve market dominance.
