With nearly two decades experience in executive recruiting and talent management, Matt is well known as a thought leader and recruiting industry expert who can pinpoint the right person to join cyber and IT teams across startups, small businesses, and large firms alike. Over the years his experience has included leading a variety of strategic and tactical functions, organizational training, and talent mapping. Donato continues to elevate companies by identifying key talent and fostering relationships within the cybersecurity industry.
Matt served as Vice President of AccruePartners, one of the country’s largest recruiting firms, where he led several practices servicing Fortune 500 companies and VC-backed startups. He grew the IT domain from inception to launch in 2009 to become one of the firm’s largest and most profitable divisions.
Matt received his BS in Economics from Roanoke College and is currently obtaining his Executive MBA from the Wake Forest School of Business. A die-hard New Englander, Matt now lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children. He is happier with the weather in North Carolina but desperately misses the seafood from his native Maine and the Patriots (but don’t hold that against him).
