Pete Murphy

Pete Murphy has developed and led a diverse portfolio of technological and
business solutions throughout his career. He has held senior leadership roles
including Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief
Information Security Officer (CISO), Operational Risk Executive, Data/Analytics
Evangelist, and board member. Pete’s experience spans both Fortune-listed
corporations and smaller entrepreneurial ventures in the financial services and
healthcare sectors, with leadership positions at notable organizations such as
Bank of America, TIAA, Regions Financial, Cardinal Innovations Healthcare,
CareSource Management Group, Maestro Health, and Vxtra Health.

A founding member of the University of North Carolina Charlotte Cybersecurity
Symposium, Pete is also a co-inventor of a patent for Risk and Control
Assessment. Additionally, he is a past recipient of the Charlotte Business
Journal’s CIO of the Year award.
